Violin inspired by Nicolo Amati,
Alard model 1649.

The back in one piece maple from Germany with flames descending, ribs are from similar stock and scroll is made of similar wood matching the wood of the back. The top is made in two pieces of red spruce medium grain from Italy, Val di Fiemme Italy. Classic oil varnish of a brown colour over a light yellow ground.

This violin is in mint and excellent condition, his back length is: 357mm

This violin was made and finished in Edinburgh this last December 2022.

Violin inspired by Guarneri del Gesu, Plowden model 1735.

This violin is inspired by Guarneri del Gesu’ Plowden model 1735. It has one piece back like the original and it was made in 2021 in Staffordshire. This instrument is the result of a long journey of experience started in Cremona, Italy, and ended in England, during the lockdown.

The violin has a one piece back of maple (from Germany),the top is spruce wood that comes from Val di Fiemme, Italy. The oil varnish is a rich golden brown.

This violin has the typical warm and dark sound of a Guarneri del Gesu’ violin and even if unexpected, the lever side sound is very bright. The violinist can feel a clear tone of the instrument’s sound and thanks to the neck's comfortable design enjoy playing with ease The lenght of the instrument is 357 mm. Violin inspired by Guarneri del Gesu, Vieuxtemps model 1741

The first violin made in Scotland at the historical Abbot House (the only house that survived the Great Fire of Dunfermline in the1624). This violin is inspired by Guarneri del Gesu’, Vieuxtemps model 1741.

The violin has two pieces back of maple from Germany, the top is red spruce wood from Italy, aged more than 30 years, giving to the instrument a dark, powerful and responsive sound.

With its oil varnish and antique-like colours, a stunning golden-red colour made from red madder lake and Dragon’s blood pigment the violin appears to be from the 18th century, giving the instrument a captivating charm from Guarneri's time. The length of the instrument is 355 mm.

Specialising in the esteemed tradition of violin making, Joan Zoroa Olivella draws inspiration from the enduring legacies of Italy and Spain.

Influenced by the masterpieces of the 17th and 18th centuries, including creations by Guarneri, Stradivari, Amati, and Grancino, Joan's work also pays homage to the 18th-century Catalan violin maker Joan Guillamí and the renowned Contreras, considered to be the Spanish Stradivari.
